PROLOGIS recently lead an in depth feasibility study on behalf of a Middle Eastern investment group, into the possibilities of launching a new low cost carrier within the region.
This project involved PROLOGIS consultants working together with client team members to agree an overall approach to the project, and the broad structure and business model of the airline. Detailed investigations were carried out into the wide range of areas that would impact on a start up carrier, such as local market and economic conditions; route network strategies; aircraft suitability and availability, together with the preparation of an initial high level draft financial overview.
The project concluded with the delivery of an extensive report into the study’s findings, which will enable the client to objectively consider its options.
